I don't know if this is good, bad, or even true, but I have several friends in the UK and thought maybe someone ought to mention it.... http://hubpages.com/hub/Gordon_Brown_Next_Prime_Minister_of_the_UK?

It's probably the first and last decent thing that Blair has done throughout his tyranny as Prime Minister although until he does step down I won't break open the bottle of champers until then! It'll be a case of good riddance to bad rubbish! New Labour? Cr*p Britain. He has done nothing for this country in fact he has put the country into ruin. I rue the day that I ever voted labour all those years ago. Off my rant box I think!

I certainly hope that all goes well, and that Blair does step down. He scares me from way over there...

Everyone is under the impression that Scotland dumping Labour for the SNP is a good mover, here's a little tip, It's exactly what Labour point. The whole point of the Nu Labour project is to break up the UK & take us into the EU, & guess what, the SNP want to take Scotland into the EU anyway. & where are all the NU Labour politicians from? Scotland! Blair, Brown, both Sottish

Hmmm...so it's not a good thing? Brown is equally bad or presumably worse, would you say?

oh don't remind me. well at least he will only be primeminister for 2 years before he has to call an election then we can actually get rid of him. Brown is the most undynamic politician i have ever seen, i cant see him making a good PM, at least blair was a good public speaker.

I'm sure he has good intentions, but will he be good at the job? im not so sure. He was a very good chancellor and kept the economy going extremelly well but i don't get the impression he will be able to lead in the same manner as Blair

That's the first nice thing I think I have ever heard about Blair. Thank you for the insight. I like to know what's going on over there from the citizens, as I don't trust our media.

So Brown is a bad public speaker? Does he have good intentions with your country? Seriously, I don't know, I have never heard of the man before today.

If everyone boycotted the voting system it would sort of make people listen, but since I've never voted as I see it pointless, maybe others could follow suit and the people can make their own parties of public politicians, and really sway things in the way of the people instead of the demons in power!! Plus you vote tossers like the fools who have been voted in to parliament and other governments only to give themselves huge payrises every year, it is ridiculous!! When governments burn in the not so distant future I will Chuckle...nay not chuckle, I'll laugh like f*ck!!!!

Sounds like the same shiat that is going on with our vote. I say down with choosing sides and creating parties. How about picking the best guy for the job without slapping some bullshiat label on him? Wow, what a novel idea...

I don't like Brown, he is another typical Commie & I've seen him say twice recently in interviews working along the lines of... We need a New World Order to deal with Global Warming. Also, people that have worked close to him have described him as Lenin, so to all those saying it's time for a change, think again. This is the man that sold off all our gold & assets as soon as Nu Labour came into office in 1997, they also spent our pensioners funds costing billions, which were not his to spend! He is dangerous....
