Looking to start a business?

HI! A friend of mine and I are wanting to start a business of our own with a low start up cost and something that doesn't require us to have a large amount of space to begin with. Does anyone here have any ideas? We don't want to go into direct sales of any kind. Thanks ahead of time for all of the ideas that I am sure everyone here will offer.

How much do you make from doin candles? It seems like fun, but do you have to go and sell them yourself??

i am with a company that when i get someone to join under me i make money from the company , and every month that person orders i get paid again.. then i make and sell mine and make money from that too..So yes you make candles to keep for yorself or giveaway as gifts or go door to door like my girls do and sell them profits are instant.. We made $80.00 in 2 hours the other day that was sweet.. today we made red,white and bue stripped votives we hope tosell tomorrow.. It is fun ..

How about working with a wellness company? I have an at home business that I really enjoy doing and it is totally flexible. You get huge discounts on everday items and the products are toxin free. The start up cost is only $29. I would be happy to provide you with more info. I got started with it because I wanted tp stay home with my son and protect him from the toxins found in the products that I was using. Plus their lotion helped clear up his eczema. I have tried other ways to make mpney from home and this is what has worked for me.

I am actually looking for something that isn't direct sales and this sounds like Melaluca and I am not interested in it at this time. I don't believe that we could sell it as well as some do. Thanks anyway for your response.

You are right, it is not for everybody but the main reason why I am doing it is because I enjoy the products so much, but I really do wish you the best and hope that you can find something that you enjoy. Good Luck!

I don't know how you feel about this but how about something to do with flowers? make flowers for weddings, wreaths on any occasions, it can be real or fake flowers. My daughter has a friend that made her wedding flowers and brides maids and the brides flowers it was very reasonable price She still has thenm in a safe place formemories of her wedding. Very good topic.I am working as a sales representative for Avon.(cosmetics company)but as you already mentioned you do not want to get in to direct sales hich makes sense sometimes i don't like doing it.Well working from home i have not much idea but how about i have read about stuffing envelopes and mailing cards type of stuff from home And you can earn couple of $$'s from them.I don't know if it is a scam or what but i only know this.Good luck anyways for your future.

Thanks for your response but we really don't want to do direct sales. I know somme people make good money from this but I don't think that we would. I have been involved with some of these companies but I have never had good luck with money from them.

Stuffing envelopes is a SCAM!! I have tried something like that long ago and I actually lost money...but good luck with Avon^^
