Smart Telecom comes with unlimites texting for a day for only 15 pesos..now ive been acquiring the free text service sending text message to my friend and family sometimes sending forwarded message or having a text converstion with friends...not knowing that ive been sending out 500 text msg even more in a day. And Smart blocked my number!!! i end up changing new sim pack.
Do you think thats fair? It defeats the purpose when they say unlimites txt when you need to send you a certain number of text in day! its really nor fair for me! for that, i changed provider!

I'm just glad it didn't happen to me. I was also a heavy texter and i just can't afford if they'll block my sim card simply because my card is 7 years old and i can't just ruin it like that. It's surprising because even friends have memorized my number by heart. I text around 300 a day. I was pushing my limit then since my phone has a counter. lol! Well 300 is an entire day of textings i don't think i can do more than that. 500 is just amazing! hehe.. Simply Amazing!

Whoa! 7 years!!wow..i mean, considering all the people youve known in that span of time and they have your contact #..but then when it gets blocked, youll be force to change sim and have to inform all the people about the new #! thats just tedious! anyways, i did happen to me, so i have to let the old sim go and get a new one, even if i have to go through the process of informing all my contacts about the new #.

That is unfair. I think you have done the right thing by changing your sim card and switched to another operator. There is no word call spamming as they are offering a unilimited facility of sms. You should have inform it to govt. authority controlling the celluler networks providers.
Thanks

Did you confirm with SMART telecoms that your sim account was really blocked because of this? If yes, then they're making false statements about their services. I'm a SMART user too but I haven't really done that... 500 texts a day. I wouldn't blame you for switching provider. Get a SUN instead.
