There are many funny stories about coffee drinking. This one is true, I think: A couple of guys were invited to coffee by someone who did not master the skill to make good coffee at all. They were polite of course and pretended to drink but when their host went out of the room, one of them poured out the coffee from the window. The problem was that even the cup fell down to the ground and the only thing he was holding in his hand was the ear of the cup!! It would be interesting to know how he explaned that.. Have you any coffee stories to tell?? Have you ever been served bad coffee?? What did you do with it??

Ooops. I have served the worst coffee of all time when I mistaken iodized salt for sugar. Hey, they have the same consistency and were placed in identical bottles. Anyway, in our first sip, coffee began spraying out off our mouths. At least we had a good laugh afterwards. Cheers! Happy Posting :)

Haha pelo26 that reminds me of the first time my cousin made coffee for us using her moms perculator. The directions said a pinch of salt and she read it as a "bunch of salt" and put a lot of it in. We also sprayed coffee...lol and had a good laugh.

The salt story reminds me of my grandma who tried to save coffee and always used the same coffee many times together with just a little new coffee. Some guys hided a salted herring under the settlings in the pot and everyone can understand that she washed the coffeepot and made some fresh coffee that time. I hope she could laugh at this afterwards, at least I know that some guys did..:)

Haha that would be very funny...lol Just this past weekend we had dinner at my brothers house. He and his wife don't drink coffee and don't own a coffee maker. I brought mine and the coffee. I was playing a game with my nephew when our elderly aunt asked if she should make the coffee...well she drinks coffee so I assumed she would be able to make it....wrong... She says from the other room, how much... I said how much what..she says.. How much coffee do you want in it? I said make a whole pot... About 10 minutes later she brings out some coffee into the den. My mother, not paying attention takes the coffee and just sips it without paying much attention.. The next thing you know she is spewing forth coffee all over the white carpet... My 8yr old nephew jumps up and without missing a beat looks at the carpet and then back at my mother and says..."You are in deep Grandma"...lol I almost peed my pants it was so funny.. When I said to my aunt make a whole pot...she thought you filled the filter basket full with coffee for a full pot...it was so thick you could stand a spoon in it....hahaha It did come out of the carpet..lol
