If you could hire only one helper for yourself, which one would it be? I'd hire a cook.

I'd hire a gardner. We have so much space here that requires tending too, and I'm not very fond of gardening myself. Plus, my grandparents really can't do it anymore, but they'd still like to to keep the place looking nice. But they can't do it all. We really need someone to help us out with everything. That would definitely help cut back on a lot that needs done. And they wouldn't have to do everything, but I think it would be nice for them to do most of it so we didn't have to worry about it so much.

Keeping the yard and land looking nice is a full time job and requires some fitness as well as time! Thanks for your reply.

I would hire the cook also.. I don't need a maid, as I am fussy and want to clean myself. And, I don't need a chauffer, I am not going anywhere. When I do, my hubby is the chauffer. As far as a gardner, I live in the desert and have no landscaping. So, that leaves the cook.

Oh without quesion, the gardner. We have a very large lot with a lot of landscaping, flowerbeds, garden and a pool with numerous flower pots and beds around it too! We both enjoy cooking and we all pitch in with the cleaning (and I am fussy). It is almost a fulltime job to keep our outside maintained! Yup, a gardner would be nice!

I suppose since I already have hired someone to tend to my yard, I would hire a gardener. I would like to have all three, though.

Well let's see now.... As my post state I love gardening so hiring a gardener is out of the question. I drive daily to p[ick up my wife and I have always loved driving ever since I got my license so the chauffer is gone also. A cook is of no use as there is just dad and I for meals 6 days a week and I love to cook. So that leaves the maid. I am a horrible housekeeper so that's the most logical choice for me to hire. I hate doiong windows and dusting the most. Dishes, laundry, vacuuming are all right by me. But a maid would be AWESOME to have a round for me & my family. As long as I didn't have to cook for the maid or drive the maid anywhere. Hahahahahaha! And this maid had better not even think of touching my garden ever. LOL. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I would want a maid. I am a very good cook and I love to cook. I also like to drive and have not had a speeding ticken in over a year so I am ok in that area. I don't have a garden because I have asthma and am allergic to pollen, grass, weeds, pollen and all that sort of stuff. So I really have no need for a gardener since I don't have a garden. I do however, hate to clean. I only really clean twice a year. I do minor dusting and vacuming to keep the dust bunnies undercontrol. Boy would I like a maid.

Can I choose a personal trainer? I'd love to have a workout tailored to adapt to my physical limitations. Either than or a personal chef so they would know how to fix nutritious food that actually TASTED good. : )

A cook. The only reason being that I could convince him to try something new every day. I'd probably have the same meal once every month or two. lol

Mmm..well since I live in an apartment and no garden..gardener's out...I love to cook...so cook is out...maid..welllll??? I kind a like to do my own cleaning since another person never seems to clean the way you like to...although maybe a part time cleaner?? I don't drive....but if I could be provided with a car service..then I guess a chauffer wins my vote

I will hire a maid, as I don't want to do housework, frankly:) I enjoy cooking, and I don't have a garden. So a maid is very helpful.

I guess I'd pick the maid. I actually enjoy cooking (when I'm doing it for other people--if I'm eating home alone then it's depressing!). Having a maid would free me from having to do laundry, do the dishes, clean the toilet and other undesirable chores. I don't need a gardener--I live in a condo complex where the building managers take care of that stuff. I don't need a chauffeur because I live in a university town and I'm able to walk everywhere, take the bus, or take the train. I wouldn't mind having a cook, but if it were between the cook and the maid, I'd choose the maid.

Sounds good. I wish I lived in an area that I could walk or use city transportation. I am not too fond of driving.

I think I will choose the maid. My household consisted of small family only. I need a maid to do all the cleaning stuff. I can teach my maid to cook simple dishes. That's pretty much the kind of maid we have here in my country.
