Is the love between parent and child greater than romantic love?

Do you think that a parent-child bond is perhaps stronger than a romantic bond...or you have your own point of view for this..

I believe that parent-child bond is stronger than a romantic bond because there are people that may good in first but leaves you in the last. But our parent is always there to care for you in bad times and in good times

A parent is supposed to be there to care for you, but it's not always that way with all parents. I would give my life in a heartbeat for my children.

I think the love we have for our children is a different kind of love than what we have for our mate. But the best thing parents can do for their kids is to love each other, then they'll be able to love their children better.

I think the bond is stronger between parent and child, and lasts for life, but it's also a different kind of love to romantic love which encompasses passion.

it is 2 different kinds of love of course i love my kids far more than i could ever love any man the bond that i have between my kids will be forever and although in some relationships we hope we have found our soulmates, it may not always last forever. Your child comes before anybody, romance can be gotten from anybody, there are millions of "fish in the sea" but your kids are your kids always. the bond is definately stronger for parent-child
