I know how to play various instruments but can't say I am good at any of them. I started at 6 learning to play the piano. In grammar school I taught myself saxophone and played in school band. My brother had a trumpet and I taught myself how to play it and later changed the sax for the trumpet in the school band. Then they needed a B falt baritone horn so I changed the trumpet for the horn. In the meantime I took a few lessons on the violin but really didn't like it. Also I taught myself to play the guitar..but only for my own enjoyment...acoustic not electric and is far and away my favorite. Can also play the harmonica but it, together with the violin, is my favorite. Needless to say, I love music. Whether I can consider myself as "musically inclined" is up to the experts to tell me. +

Too bad that I don't play any instrument myself. I would love to learn guitar and piano one day but since the items and the course fees are quite expensive, I don't have a surplus for them now. And more importantly, I don't really have time to practice out of my busy schedule everyday. But I do dream of learning them when I have more time (or even after retired) in future. I think music is really beautiful and if I could play a song or two, that would be wonderful!

Oh how I wish I could play any musical instruments but unfortunately I don't have the talent for it. But, only talent I have truly noticed for myself is 'singing' itself. That's what i'm proud of about myself that eventhough I don't have any talent of playing music instruments, but at least I could sing well. :-)

I haven't been playing it recently, but I play the tenor saxophone. I use to get really into it, but now I feel like I'm too busy to play. I know a little piano and I want to learn guitar. But saxophone is what I've played for years.

I haven't played any instruments for a long time...but I studied violin in junior high school, then learned recorder, and guitar in high school...and I'm absolutely dying to learn flute!! I just love especially the sound of ethnic flutes like Native American ones, which almost look like alto recorders--absolutely haunting sound!

I know how to play a guitar but i am not good to it. It's been my frustration to be good in playing various instruments. I'd dream of joining a live band, but my mom and my elder sister strongly disagree instead advice me to focus on studies. So i did not push through. So whenever i see someone who is good in playing guitar especially acoustic guitar, i am very excited to watch and hear him playing.

I started off learning to play the classical guitar following Yamaha's syllabus but was soon bored by the slow and dull tune. I then ventured into the more fiery flamenco guitar learning by ear and "sifra" notes.
Now I regret that I did not follow through with the Yamaha course otherwise I'd be able to read the musical notes now.
