Okay I do a lot of gardening and have been told by many that I have a green thumb. I am also lazy and forgetful in my old age. hahaha. When I plant something new I brag about it and am so proud when it growas really well flowering bearing fruit or whatever. I also am the type that NEVER sticks that little ID tag that comes with the plants in the ground. So this is wherein the problem is. Ive a plant that I can't recall what it is. Attatched is a photo. Any help identifying it would be of great help to me. Thanks in advance fellow gardeners. Also if you have any photos of your flowers, trees, or vegetables please do share one in your response.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Oooh! I KNOW this one!!! It's a columbine. Usually a woodland flower, but looks so pretty in flower beds. It blooms in the springtime, but the foliage is so pretty all year round.
Give me some more Grandpa Bob! My sister and I do this all the time. It's so much fun! LOL!

The picture you attatched look like the flowers they have when in bloom. I'll have to see for sure. I may recall planting Columbine but not too sure right now. Thanks.

Definately a Columbine. I bought one a couple of years ago to add more yellow to the garden. I have mostly purples and blue.

Thank you Grandpa Bob for the BR. :) What color did it bloom? Mine is a double black bloom. I had forgotten that it was double petaled. It's so pretty. If my camera was working, I'd snap a photo for you.

One of my absolute favorites Grandpa Bob .It's COLUMBINE ,I'm amazed that you only have one .There aren't too many perrenials that can compete with the beauty of these flowers .Go out and get yourself a couple more .There are a number of varieties to choose from .My personal favorite is maroon with a white center .

Columbine? That sounds familiar. Are they a shady loving plant or a sunny one? I have another discussion asking about sunny plants/flowers. Either way I recall some beautiful flowers on this plant last year. Thanks again.

Oh no grandpa, I don't have any picture of my lotus. Now, why didn't I bother to take a picture of it. Its still alive, by the way, LOL! Still sitting prettily in my vase and growing beautifully. I might give each of my lotus a new ID name. I will name one of them grandpa Bob, do you agree.

The leaves look like a type of parsley. I can't tell what the blooms look like. I don't know if parsley blooms or not. Have you tried tasting it?

I have no idea what the plant is! I did the very same thing when I tried to grow a veggie garden when I lived in North Florida. I was horrible at it and I should probably never ever try to plant a vegetable garden again LOL! I am lucky if I can keep a fake plant in my house. Somehow I would find a way to kill it! LOL
