Do you think people should be allowed to post works of art that might be offensive to other people? Why or why not?

no matter how you look at it someone is going to find something offensive in a piece of art. If we took down every piece of art that someone found something offensive there wouldent be anything to fill the museums with. They would be empty. People need to remember that what is beautifull to 1 person will not be beautifull to another and that is just the way things are.

lets allow everyone to express themselves. may be that person has a different view of it and may be he is presenting something that needs to be corrected. to that extend he needs to be appreciated. whenever someone expresses through art something that is insulting sentiments of other people, he should be solely held responsible and accountable for the act. law should protect him frm being physically attacked by people or mob, but should not protect him for being a nuisance. law should use everything in its disposal to punish such people as severely as possible if he cannot give a reasonably satisfying explanation to all those concerned with it.
