Life ..without Money .. it's quite distressing !

Debtors knocking at your door first thing in the morning.. telephone rinnging incessantly asking you to repay loans ... It's finding very hard to make both ends meet . These are but a few of the grim experiences in your daily life if you are in debt. Lack of sufficient funds to meet the ever growing demands. You would certainly begin to think that MONEY is everything in life. No matter how good you are in tightening up your purse, unforeseen expenses drain whatever you have by way of savings. End results : los of appetite, listlessness, family feuds, pressure from debtors - all these definitely add up to your tensions. Conclusion : Isn't MONEY everything in life? MONEY .. HE is the God ...respect Him , adore Him,love Him ..even worship Him.He is the Supremo !!!

Hi sukumar, I disagree with you.Calling money as a Supremo is not acceptable. To an extent one should have a desire for money. But money is not the end of all. There are many things in the world which money can't buy. Can you get your Mom's affection, which you would have experinced by giving One crore dollars? I have many of friends who are millionares, they buy all things on which they lay there hands on, but still lamenting to me," Hey, Venkatesh, I dont have a peace of mind, What to do?"

What prompted me to adopt this vein of thought is my experience of having been trodden down for short of funds.

Or you could do the intelegent thing and don't live beyond your means as many people are doing these days. Thats why there is so much credit card debt and such. People don't realize that they'll eventually have to PAY for the stuff anyways.

Everyone is not living above their means. Some people truly don't make enough to live a decent simple life. Of course, there are people that do. They borrow money for everything and then act surprised when bad things happen. We shouldn't judge everyone who is broke though.

That is a problem that I am having right now. Because we have no money, we become obsessed at times with it, and it changes the way we view the world. We're trying to relax about it and remember the things that are actually important, but it is definitely stressful to not have any money. I can't imagine what it is like for people who don't have enough to pay their bills - we luckily do have just enough.

While you can live without huge sums of money, you can adjust to living with cash, if you had to. Money is liken to air we breath, without which can make our daily living a handicap. Ofcourse having lots of it frees us from the daily grind of earning a living, this would be the greatest liberation since the abolition of slavery. We cannot equals money to god, but money equals necessity, liberation and worse evil.

Necessity , I am pinpointing on it ...if you do not have enough money to meet you needs , you'll feel dejected. The sort of frustration makes you think that money is the supreme. Thanks for the response.

When we miss money, they define our life and mentality. But when we have them, this openes for us some new possibilities. The money are just tool. But we must not refuse them just because of the blind faith. The material and spiritual world of the person must be in balance without any of them to prevalent.

Money is not everything in life. We were in debt over our ears a fews years back and visited a trustee. Instead of going bankrupt we entered into a consumer proposal. This way we make a payment that was able to fit into our budget. Maybe you could do something like this.

At one time I knew exactly what you are talking about. My ex husband wouldn't pay all our bills and we got into serious problems, he honestly believed That if they were foolish enough to lend him the money or give him credit he would pay if and when he felt like it. One big reason why he is my ex husband. The secret to all the problems is to live on what you earn and never have more owing than you can pay back. Credit is so easy to get and so hard to get rid of. The only bill I have is my mortgage payment and of course the utilities, but I do not use my credit card unless it is for something I can repay and I know even if the bottom of the pot falls off I still can repay this debt. It was not easy getting here, I spent years and years getting back my credit rating. I had to pay off a lot the ex's because he used my name and signed my name .Several accepted that it was not my signature and some didn't care it was my name and I was responsible to pay or get a bad rating. So yes it is a big head ache, and a lot of stress. and I do have a lot of sympathy for you

Money is necessary for the basic things in life. Without money we cannot eat, have shelter, nor clothes. However, money is not everything in life.

I think money is very important to maintain every day life and to buy things we need, but I don't think it is God or worthy of worship. There are things money can't buy, such as the love of your children or the love of true friends. These are things you can't buy with money!

Money is not EVERYTHING. Money is part of abundance but it is not EVERYTHING. It is meant to make us comfortable but not a basis of happiness. IT can make us secure and comfortable. It is important, yes. Learn how to make money work for you.. and not be a slave for money,.. because money is meant to be a slave.. and not a master. It is important to this world now.. because without it.. life aint comfortable. Without it we can't buy things we want and need. Learn how to control your finances and look for ways how to make money work for you. Read more... about business books.. and money books. It would help. I think you should read the Richest Man in Babylon. IT is a good book that talks about getting out of debt.

money! can't get enough of it. it always seems like you don't have enough money to buy this and that, or can't afford this and that and that's depressing! the cost of living is high, things are expensive and there are just way too many things to buy and too many places in the world to visit...i wouldn't go to the extend that money is everything in life, but it certainly does have a big influence in one's life. it's depressing when you see something you like or when u wanna buy something, but can't afford it. sigh T_T

Money isn't everything in life. Once in debt, there is always a way of climbing out with a bit of self respect. There is help at hand, whenever you find yourself unable to cope with everyday expenses. Money management is what is required. No... it is not God, unless we want to let it be. Money doesn't dictate to me... I could make my way in life without it, as I'm sure could a lot of other people. But... if they've let themselves get into deep debt, then a person has to climb out of that hole in the road first before carrying on their path, and making it a smoother path through life. Brightest Blessings.

I'm glad I could help, my friend. The way I perceive things, you've learned your lesson about money and debt. It's not the end of the world. A huge percentage of the world's population is in the same boat as you, and if you don't have the money to keep up with things, you need to take advice from somebody who will help you back onto the safe side of the road again. Don't ever be afraid to ask... it keeps you saner to share your problems and accept any help offered, which you think is logical. Once out of the hole, the lesson you learned from this period in life will aid your future decisions and you will be a much better person for it. Believe in yourself, and others will believe in you. Trust me. Brightest Blessings, in love and in light.

I feel that its not only important and necessary for my family but in each and every persons life to be rich and happy so that they can satify their needs but i don't only wish to be rich to be happy or make my family happy but also would love and try my best to help people who are also in need of money because i have seen many people suffering which i can't see it really hurts me so i just don't pray to god for my happiness but also for them who have forgotten what is happiness.

Money has become way to important. And credit cards are the worst thing to have. It is way to easy to charge things just because you want them, always thinking you will be making more money and be able to pay them off. Your conclusion is more right then any of us would like to admit.

Although there are lot of things that money can't buy it can make your life so much more enjoyable, but then money can buy you a good looking chaperone, wife or husband but can't buy you love. But then I definately see your point, I definately blame the taxman lol. You pay tax on cars, on purchases, on insurance, and even those who are not fortunate enough to work have to pay tax on benefits. I must say that even though I am very good with my money, even when I was earning £30k per year, it was still in one hand and out the other, money is not the root of all evil, that would be the taxman and temptation lol.
