in honor of mothers day, i would like to hear from the community their most memorable sayings from there moms and from mothers as well, i know I have quite a few my self examples being:, if you to don't stop fighting iam gong to ship you both to china, or does this house have drive thru written on it ,your face will freeze like that. or your most heart warming moments as a mother, or with your mother and i wsh all the mothers a happy mothers day

Hey T. Welcome to mylot. Glad to see you finally made it here. Happy Mother's day to you too. I guess my favorite saying would have to be "Money don't grow on trees." and "Follow your instinces, if something feels wrong it most likely is."
The second one is my favorite warning to my kids. The world is a dangerous place, and they need to know everyone have a flight and fight reflex and if it feels wrong it most likely is.
Have a wonderful Mother's day. Enjoy it and enjoy them three wonderful kids of yours.

I am a mother myself, but I miss my mother now...she passed away two years ago....I love her so much because she was the one who taught me the value of patience, of hard work, of kindness through her example. She may have her faults and shortcomings, but my mother was the one who saw us through college--all the 3 of us became professionals because she worked so hard just to ensure a better life for us. Today, even when she is no longer with us, I salute her for being what I am today. I also learned the value of saving--she was always frugal and contented of what we had when we were young. Nanay, Happy Mother's Day!
