Some people say that temperatures are rising thanks to Global Warming. That means we could expect more frecuent heat waves along with increased air pollution, smog and infecttious diseases. According to The Union of Concerned Scientists the number of deaths from Global Warming are projected to double over the next 15 years. Is it time to do something now? What do you think about the Global Warming? Could we stop it? Have we avilable solutions today to stop it? Thank you in advance for your response.

i think, to stop global warming can be done unless the world will unite in doing so. scientist are all doing their jobs finding solutions and i believe they does. but having it emplemented is another thing. here in the philippines, i am in this advocacy. as i goes in one place to another, i find the cause getting more complicated. to name few, legislation for utilization vs. reforestation is not clearly defined. that because of poverty of those living in the countryside, which is not properly addressed by the govenment, these people does illegal logging to feed their families. how i wish i could talk to you more about this. kindly post in my e-mail. forest-guard@hotmail.com

Can you stop something from going back to normal? Our current weather is nice, but not natural. We have had it for the past 10.000 years which might appear a lot to us humans because we play no role at all on this planet, but in the entire existence of the planet stable is weird. We might perhaps be able to slow things down by a couple of years, but a climate change IS going to happen, it's simply a question of when.

Sure we can stop it but it would mean a change in lifestyle for civilized countries. They would not want to do that.

yes , ofcourse it is the time to take an immediate step before it is too late, one of the major step is using alternative sources of energy like solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy for electricity production, instead of using coal as conventional source of energy , then use electrical vehicles, which i guess will become more common in comming years, theres is lot we can do, but the first thing is awareness.

Global Warming is really hot topic these days. All of the changes occuring in the world is because of it.For stopping it one individual cannot do nothing. You have to be united to prevent world from further Global warminng effects. It is affecting world so badly and in coming few years it will effect it more.Solution is there but if we want to follow it.I think every one is just talking about this thing being aware of every danger but not taking any initiative to stop it.Major you can see weather changing, pollution is everywhere,Sea pollution effecting marine lives, different type of new diseases some of them are uncurable are spreading so fast,it is all because of global warming. All we should do is to get united and stop polluting out our world.
