do you compete with your sisters or brothers? Was there a time that you compare yourself to them?

I know it is wrong, but I do tend to use my siblings as my yardstick for my accomplishments. I do not envy them in a negative way. On the other hand, their accomplishments motivate me to strive harder and set bigger goals for myself. I do love my siblings. They are very important to me as they give me emotional support. There was really a time when I thought I was lagging behind my brothers and sisters in terms of financial status, career opportunities and travel exposure. But then, I realized it was not healthy that I would almost become envious of them, and so I taught myself to be content with what I have, and appreciate my sisters and brothers some more. After all, they are my family. I tell myself that I am blessed.

Well, it made you strive for more... As long as it didn't harm them. Not to the extent of being envious...

Competition is inevitable. As long as its healthy, its ok! As long as you dont hurt each other..

i can honestly say that that isn't or has never been the situation between me and my brothers and sisters but then I am the baby of my family by a good 10 years so maybe that is why! xx
