A Bird And My Internet Connection

I have this DSL wireless internet connection. The antenna is notebook size , and it was installed in our house roof several months ago. I went for this kind of internet access as our place has no telephone lines nor power lines. My source of contact with the outside world is thru my cellphone and the internet. Power is supplied by a Honda generator set. This morning, I found out to my chagrin that i have no more internet connection. I checked everything from hard disk to modem, but everything seemed to be allright. I then decided to check the antenna. When I got to the roof I was surprised to see the notebook sized antenna dangling from its tube socket, face down. But what catched my attention more was a bloodied bird lying on its back, dead from a gaping wound I surmised that the bird, because of its wound, has lost its vision and flew smack to the antenna, jolting the notebook sized antenna right out of its socket. I said a little prayer to the bird, burried it ib the garden, reinstalled the directional antenna and write about it now, in MYLOT
