the world is colourless without song accompanying us,I am not such a person who always put the speaker to my ears listening to music. But some songs really influence my mood,I am moved by the lyric and the tune of the song, when I feel overwhelmed I will turn myself to listening to the song that I love best,It indeed works well with me.What about you?

I agree. Music plays a major role in my life where my moods are concerned. It can influence my mood a lot and most of the time in positive ways. I don't like listening to sad songs when I am already sad. When I am angry, I listen to loud music. When I am sad, I listen to soulful, soothing music. When I am feeling happy or energetic, I like dancing to happy music.

You're right, the world would be missing some colour if we did not have music! Unlike you though, I *am* one to put earphones to my ears a lot. Music helps me to get out of the dumps when I am not feeling happy or helps me to get calm when I am too irritated or something. I love to dance, so music is very important for social events. Music plays a big role in my spirituality too. They say when you sing you "pray twice" and I really believe I can feel a stronger connection to God through singing songs than through spoken prayer. Music is awesome! That's why it's important to 'Save the Music' for children in America. Like they say, "Music education equals brain power!" My favorite singer Mariah is a big supporter of the VH1 Save the Music foundation. I just had to mention that, because they are honouring her for her contribution to their foundation this year! :)
