Ravi Shastri is in favour of putting two wicket keepers(Dhoni & Karthik) in playing eleven. It's looking a new & a interesting gamble. The time through which the Indian Cricket is passing requires quality batsmen. They may come in any form. May be as a Bowler-Batsman or may be as WicketKeeper-batsman. In present scenerio it's looking a good plan secondly, at present summer is on. So it is a good option to have two wicket Keepers in the playing eleven. If needed, during the match we can take the help of both. Because both are quality batsman and at present in-form also, so they can give a much needed depth in the batting area. The only concern is that whether it'll limit the bowling options or not.

India played the best seven batsmen that are available in the team right now with Ganguly and Tendulkar out. So giving opportunity to Karthik looks a wise decision only, plus after the match winning partnership between dhoni and karthik in last match this decision looks pretty right. Though it limits the bowling options but to increase the bowling options we don't have an all-rounder except for Irfan pathan who has looked woefully out of form. So for now this strategy looks alright.

In the present situation it's looking a perfect game plan after all Cricket is a Game of Plans.
