Work, family, social demands -- there isn't a single person in America who doesn't sometimes feel stretched to the limit. What do you do when you feel this way? Call a friend? Go for a walk? Eat a piece of chocolate? Reveal how you capture a moment of peace

I live in a little village, in England. So, whenever I need to relax or chill out, I go for a walk in the countryside. It makes you stop and think what life is all about. Nothing in nature is in a hurry and I like to be at one with nature. There's nothing relaxes me more than an amble in the countryside.

I caffeinate myself with coffee or tea, or sometimes energy drinks. It increases your dopamine, one of the pleasure neurotransmitters. I smoke, too, and sometimes I just sleep my worries away. If I eat anything, it's either chocolate or fruts. Or both. None of my methods sound very healthy, though.

When I get that feeling I try to analyze what is creating it, and then get rid of the cause. Life is too short to have that much pressure. I think it is important to realize that the things peopple teach you that create this situation when you are an adult, are things based on the "ideal". Then, remind yourself that this ideal has little to do with having a life that is based on humane living. When stress is too much, it is time to reevaluate, and then readjust things.

To me I find that writing helps me to relax. I, also, find that it is relaxing going to the Movie Theater. I try to go to The Movies quite often during the week. It does not bother me at all to go to the Movies alone. I find that it is very enjoyable. I also find that watching TV relaxes me. I love all sorts of movies, especially, a good scary show or comedy. I also find that action movie are very exciting, which helps to hold my attention. Therefore, it helps me to relax.

Just got out of my job and I already feel relax. Seriously speaking, I just listen to good and mild sounding Christian music and try to feel the beat and listen to the lyrics, thats makes me forget everything and feel relax. When I'm home, I wanted to spend my spare time in front of the television and watch some good shows while eating something.

The game of table tennis comes in handy for me to relax. I also try and catch some fun from the cable TV and/or the internet. Some interesting novels do the trick on occasion. However, talking to or visiting some interesting friends has proved most rewarding in some cases.

My most relaxing moment is when I am just simply at home with my family, talking, sharing the day's events, etc. I find it also relaxing to be going through a body massage, a foot spa or just listening to mellow music while reading my favorite book. I also find peace when we are in church to hear mass--right after, everything is so peaceful...Also when I am in the beauty parlor for pedicure/manicure...it's so relaxing I always look forward to it....
