Have You Ever Had To Cross An Enemy?

Have you ever had to go somewhere and you know a person was going to be there that you were once friends with, but the friendship has been over for years? This is what I am having to face at a tea party at church tommorow and I am not looking forward to seeing this person, but I do not want to miss seeing my family. She was my counselor at her church and things turned into a friendship that ended very badly. The problem is that her mother is a member of my church and they will both be speaking at church tommorow for mothers day and I do not want to see her at all. I have not seen her since November 2001 and I have not talked to her since May 2003. I knew eventually the time would come when we could run into each other and that day is here. I don't go to my church often, because running into her mother causes anxiety attacks and makes me sick to me stomach. This is the one time I usually go to church in the year and they are never there. Well, this year they will be. My family knows about the issue, so I am hoping that they will be supportive, even though this is not their specialty at all. Their loving, they just remind me of the people who stared in invasion of the body snatchers. I think it comes from my grandparents, mainly my grandfather. I here that he was strict and mean. Anyway, I am really praying that everything will be alright.

That is the best thing to do. That is what I do when I worry about some one that I know I am going to see that I haven't seen in awhile it stresses me but I pray and that usally calms me down. Don't let her or her mom get to you.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. Seeing her was exactly the way I thought it would be. However, everything else was just wonderful.

That is the way to do it take the best part of it and enjoy it and inore the bad parts or smile and don't let her get to you. I did that awhile back when my ex husband's ne wife was staring me down I just smiled of course she was cursing underneath her breath but I'm not going to let her get the best of me.
