Should we or should we not add people to our network when we receive friend requests?
Afterall, they are total strangers. And yet, the point of joining the online community is to make this world a smaller place for everyone. Is it still safe to get to know people online? Or is it a very risky thing to do?
Has anyone of you had any experience with meeting people online? Good or bad experience?
Please share your thoughts on this and maybe some advices on keeping the online social zone safe for all of us.

don't you consider mylot as an online community? anyway, it is ok as long as you are in company of trusted social group that could help you in whatever endeavor you are into like photgraphy(which is your passion) then it is safe but if you get into another kind of social community just be sure you keep it to a limit.only online and never provide info.

Hello,smints8985,i can be very open when i am talking with people online but i have not had any experience meeting any friends from the internet, may be I am too shy,i do not know what to say when i actually see them, the feeling will be very strange.
I think if someone was to meet online friends for the first time, they should go to some places where there were lots of people,it was better to avoid quiet places.
