Moderators on myLot??

I came across a post asking if we need moderators on myLot.
NO! We don't need moderators here on myLot. It's a terrible, bad idea.
Moderators always, always tend to abuse their extra buttons of power and always side with their friends and start grouping and performing witch hunts. Especially if chosen from the regular members.
No matter how fair and just they think they are, no matter what rules they try to uphold, Moderators just don't work. In addition, people tend to suck up to moderators and then they think they are gods and i assure you, they will act like ones. all justice is lost.
That member was so angered that one of his posts were deleted just beacuse another member reported abuse to one of his posts and then started crying for moderators.
I Say NO to moderators on myLot. I am happy with myLot's current system judgment. MyLot is not a closed community music forum for God's sake!
Trust me on this. the day Mylot decides to appoint Mod's, it will be the end of it. END OF!
who do you think you report abuse to anyway?

I happen to agree with you and everyone else on here, there are no need for mods on this site. They would have nothing else going for them but the title, so of course they will be on a power trip daily. Bringing mods on here will cause the site to fail b/c people wouldn't want to be on here as much.

Because you can say or do ALMOST anything here. If it was moderated, it would have been controlled and you wouldn't have your freedom. Most forums DO NOT ALLOW you to start a duplicate topic. with your own words that it. they force you to search and then start a topic. and all hell breaks loose if you do. Of course this would do nicely if the search engine was a good one. but most forums operate on php. which totally suck!!
