I think I want to see the new Harry Potter movie but I will wait untill it comes out on dvd. I already have read the 5th book. The 4th movie wasn't near as good as the 4th book was. it was like a lot of the story was left out of the movie. What do you all think?

Although I like the 4th movie it was not what I'd hoped for. There was so much from the book not in there. Of course if they had put it all in there the movie would have been at least 4 hours long. I'm hoping the fifth movie will be better. There wasn't as many different storylines going on in it like there were in the fourth. We'll see though.

I know what you mean. I'd read the book but some time before the movie came out. I was disappointed in all they left out, some of which really should have been there. Other things I can understand not going into but there was so much left out. The thing is 4 just seemed to have so many different main stories going on. The others have one main one and a few sub things but 4 had the tri-wizard championship, spew, the whole thing with the reporter for example. They were all main stories not side issues unlike with the other books.

you are right.The movie makers left out a lot of good content.I think they should have made the movie in two parts to cover many aspects...n the worst show I think was the Yule Ball.IT should have been properly shown..I was very disappointed with the movie..but I just hope that the 5th movie is upto the mark.

I am actually looking forward to the new movie. My grandson is very eager to see it. Hopefully it will be shown at our local drive-in theatre.

I agree the last movie wasn't as good as it could ahve been. I can't wait until next month when the alst book comes out! My best friend, another Shawn (though she spells it different), will buy it and read it in one day and then I'll get to read it. I hope they don't kill Harry.

although i'm a huge fan of the harry potter books I really didn't like the movie adaptation except the third one. the third one is my favourite because it was directed by alfonso quaron director of "a little princess". the fourth one is a huge dissapointment for me. if i hadn't red the book i wouldn't have understand what is going on, the screenplay was not very good and they didn't captured the essence of the book, it felt like i was watching photos put together to make a movie. the brits definitely has no emotions or imagination, and certain elements that lets you appreciate a good movie so i'm really not excited to watch the 5th and i'm definitely dissapointed that the same director will direct the 6th book
