Which camera do you use?

There seem to be a lot of cameras in the shelves today. I am using Canon IXUS 500 now and plan to purchase one more from the Canon breed. Though I haven not made up my mind, I wanted to know friends, which camera do you use and why? Would you suggest me to purchase a Canon or any other camera and why? Thanking you all in anticipation.

I use both Panasonic FZ-20 and Olympus DSLR. Both are good in their own ways. The Panasonic is much lighter than the DSLR and gives much more photographic control than a normal compact camera and its optical image stabilizer is a blessing. In terms of image quality and responsiveness, the DSLR beats it hands down.

well right now i have cannon sd 400 but am gonna buy a nikon slr camera soon i hope so ;)

I have a SONY P7, it is already 4 uears old. I plan to buy a small DC like CASIO Z700 or some like that, and I'd like to hae SLR camera later, I prefer Nikon D70s or D80.

Canon 30d, planning to upgrad to a 1 series body, hopefully the mark II *drool*.
