Women and age

Why is that a lot of women I know starts acting jumpy whenever the age topic is being talked about? What is there between women and their age? I for one don't think there is anything shameful about telling people my real age.. well maybe cause I'm still young? But still, so what? It's just a number. What more if you've aged gracefully and look even younger than your biological age, why shove the topic aside when you can just answer proudly cause it doesn't show anyways?

Hi, smints. Age obsulutely means a lot to women. When I was a little girl,I thought 20 is really old. I surprised that why people call her "a girl" who is 20! Now, I am 25. I still though myself as a girl, and I think 20 is so young! I also know that women are get wiser and more charming as the ages increasing.

I am 43 and have no problem telling people my age. For one thing, I don't think there is anything shameful about how old a person is, it's just a number. Another thing, I am more comfortable with myself now than I was in my 20's and 30's, I know who I am and like myself.

its never bothered me. but i know a couple of women who wont tell their age to anyone lol! i think it might be because they are afraid that they look older than they actually are? nobody wants to hear they look old. and certainly dont want someone to say "you're not 40 come on, tell the truth!" and their age truly be 40. i think that got kind of muddled but thats the only way i can think to explain it lol!!
