I was born and raised in the US, but took many writing classes in England. It took me quite some time to re-adapt (both ways). Now I have to re-re-adapt since I'll be back in England next year. LOL, I love "misspelling" some common words especially color/colour....

I have been taught British English at a primary school in the Middle-East I attended for a couple of years, American English in the last grade of my primary school here and then at high school pretty much a combination of both as one teacher one year used British English, the other American English and heck the last just used it blended together.
