At first I wanted to say its more of a negative relationship, But I changed my mind. I do think a little stress can sometimes be healthy. Sometimes I do my best work under a little bit of pressure. It motivates me to work harder and accomplish my tasks. In the end, it actually raises my self esteem for completing what, at one time, seemed impossible to accomplish.

Positive relationship? Hmmm... let me think..The way I see it, it's the contrary. When stress is high, self-esteem is lowered, but not all the time I guess. In other words, there are people who may experience stress, but their self-esteem do not go down. However, it is also possible that people with high self-esteem may not necessarily experience much stress than the one who has low self esteem. For instance, on a job interview, a person who is confident and self-assured will not experience much stress compared to the one who is less confident, and is insecure. Do I make sense here? LOL...I hope I am...
