mercury fillings removed

i need to get a mercury filling removed and i am a bit nervous about it. i have heard so many stories about if it isnt done right. has anyone had an amalgam filling removed and replaced? did you have any health problems after that??

A lot of dentists nowadays are not keen on using mercury as an amalgam filling anymore. Recent studies has shown that the mercury can health serious health effect on our body. Mercury is considered a metal and once it passes through our bloodstream, it can be quite difficult to remove. No matter what detoxification you do, it can not be easily flushed out of our body system. Dentists prefer to use light curing instead.
