For those who drive I'm curious how much you pay for gasoline?

How much do you pay for gasoline either in litres or gallons depending where you are? The gas in my city has just risen to $1.12 per litre. I reside in Calgary Alberta Canada. One of the large oil companys bragged that they made profits in excess of 30 billion dollars! I think that was for one year.

Here in Washington State gas prices start out at about $3.44 a gallon. So, they made 30 billion huh, so much for not price gouging us all. There was one gas station owner, I don't know where he was from, he had lowered the price of gas for the senior citizens and got penalized for it. They said he had to make a 9% profit from the gas he sold.

Yea, doesnt seem quite right that they are making billions of dollars in profits while we choose between eating an driving. In Pa we are paying about 2.90 a gallon. In Ohio where we go to church it is 3.20 a gallon. If it goes much higher my husband is going to have to sleep in his truck in the parking lot.
