To get closer to God...

we have to do something first. God will not force Himself on us.
Jeremiah 4: 3. For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: "Break up your fallow ground.
God told them to do it. He didn't say I'm going to break your fallow ground up. God says to draw nigh to Me and I will draw nigh to you.
You have got to do something first. You draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. Resist the devil ( that means you have to do something) in every area of your life and he will flee from you.

Its very simple,,first repent from the sins you might had done,but feel it deep into your heart been honest to GOD.Then 2nd talk IN SECRET to GOD asking HIM to change the bad things you might have for good ones and ask GOD to take control of your life....
thats all my friend,GOD is a simple GOD HE doesnt want us to be lost and HE want us to be honest to HIM and give HIM all our weakness..........GOD will do,,belive me HE will!!!
