Making Money With Free Opportunities

I am attempting to make enough money through free programs to use them as my primary source of income. I have heard that this is impossible, but I do not believe that to be the case. There are a lot of free programs out there that pay good money for simple tasks, and they pay even more if you refer other people to them. I have joined some of them, but I am sure that there are more of them out there that I don't know about yet. I assume it may take a few years, but it's hard to say. Do you have any tips for speeding up the referral process? I know about traffic exchanges and things, but there's probably something else out there that could really help too. I don't really want to use ppc, because I want to make money not spend it. I want everything to be as low cost as possible so that I can help others get started too.
