I have two preschool boys who absolutely love to watch a movie. They have several favorites but I'm looking for things to expand our collection a bit (and add a little variety!). What movies do your preschoolers enjoy? Any suggestions for must-see children's movies?

Though our family does enjoy full-length movies from time to time, we prefer to keep the kids busy with other things than watching tv. So, we choose those kinds of videos that have several episodes of their favorite shows, like: Bear in the Big Blue House Arthur Little Bear (all time favorite) The Backyardigans Thomas the Tank Engine Bob the Builder There are so many more, but these seem to be chosen the most around here. When full-length movie time does come around, we found that Cars was too long for them to sit through and we broke it up into two parts on consecutive nights.

my daughters who is 22 months old , favorite movie is flushed away. She also likes lilo and stitch and shrek. I try to switch up the movies as much as I can but flushed away stays in the dvd player.

If you are looking for full length movies, I would suggest Toy Story. The preschoolers love it! Also, veggie tales has a nice set of music videos out. Other favorites are Cars and Finding Nemo.

When my daughter was a pre-schooler she really enjoyed Barney, The Big Comfy Couch and all of the Disney Movies. She really liked the movie Ferngully because it taught us a good lesson about the environment and how fragile it is, that is also a very unisex movie, boys and girls would love it. She really liked this movie The Indian in the Cupboard and that would be a good boys movie. It is not a cartoon movie, but she really loved it very much. Try those movies if you haven't seen them yet and see how they like them. They teach a good moral and are very clean movies for preschoolers to watch.
