What to do in Kunming?

I'm traveling to Kunming with my parents and brother in July. We'll spend about 4 days there before moving on to another place. What can we do there? What are the sites that we must see? I really just want to see some nature and relax, but I know my parents will want to see some history.

I think i can give you some suggestions about your journey,because my hometown is next to Yunnan.Kunming is a beautiful city with good weather,you may love this city for the frist sight,you can visit the peerless marvellous spectacle stone forest,lijian ancient city,Shangri-la national park,and so on .

Lijiang and Deqin are too far for such a short trip through Yunnan. Don't know how far the stone forest is, but I'll check that out.
