I was watching the Biography channel tonight and it was 2 hours about Bette Midler. I have always thought she was a brilliant performer and woman. She is a marvelous entertainer. But, she is a far better humanitarian. She started the New York Restoration Project in the early 90's. She gets out there with regular folk like you and me and cleans up the dilapidated areas and parks in New York City. The parks in the not so rich neighborhoods. How many superstars do you know of that do that? I had the great pleasure of seeing her live in concert. I brought my teenage niece and nephew with me. They thought, along with me, that this was the best concert they had ever seen. If you ever have the chance to see her perform live, I urge you not to miss it. It will leave you wanting more of Bette. So, do you think Bette is truly divine?

I have to say that I love Bette! I have been a fan of her's since I was 11 years old. I have seen her three times in concert and have taken someone with me to each who never saw her perform live before. They all thought she put on an outstanding show and became fans as well. As far as being a Humanitarian - She is 100% Divine. Who else decided, "Hey, I think I will go clean up New York?" She's got more energy at her age than I do at 29.

I had the pleasure of seeing do a live concert at The United Center. She was absolutely amazing! She is an artist I would go see whenever I had the opportuniy. I think I will plan a vacation to Vegas, as she is booked there for quite awhile. PEACE

yes she is. She is a tremendous talent, she has never exploited herself. I will never forget her performance on the final (or next to last) Johnny Carson Tonight Show.

Yep, I was crying right along with Johnny (r.i.p.) and Bette. "One for my baby and one more for the road." PEACE
