Advice for resumes/ cover letters, and getting a job wanted.

Have you any advice, for making a resume' look good (while delivering good honest truth.) I have a whole lot of college education, but no degree--I'm currently working on my bachelor's in psychology and plan on going for the masters. I have only manual labor work experience, but a health condition prohibits me from manual labor. I'm very far from being established, but need to get a good job to help me pay the bills, continue my schooling, pay for medical costs, and to build the resume' and start my career.
