Where do you prefer to live? City or Suburb? I choose suburb if there's a good transportation. What about you?

I agree. Where I live, the suburb is some 10-15km away from the city and we have good transportation means. The only bad thing is that after a certain hour, or at the weekends the transportation is limited or none. So if you own a car, then the problem is solved. And the city is expanding in the suburbs anyway; this is reflecting on the prices of the properties. To own a property in the suburbs is getting harder and harder, because of the high prices. Bare in mind that this is not America, where the downtowns are the cheapest and most criminal affected. In my city, to live anywhere in the center, means to pay high rent or to own expensive property. Otherwise I would preffer my children to grow up in the suburbs, where it's much more quiet and peacefull. And I can keep them away from all sorts of bad temptations the city has to offer.

This is the topic I usually think for myself. After my graduated from college, I consider to buy my house. I usually think whether stay in the center of big city. In the center, it means that you have convience to access something that only available in the big city center, such as some big bank, well hospital, stock market and so on. But you also know, the cost living in the center of city will spend the major incoming you earn and the polluting is serious in there. So, if the transportation is easy available, I think I will choose to live in the suburb just like you. :)
