There are a couple of phone numbers that I can remember: my dad's phone number, because it's the one I grew up with; my fiance's phone number, because I used to have to call him from work (without my cell phone), and my old work phone number. Mostly, though, I wouldn't know anyone's number without the phone book in my cell phone.

as far as my experience goes i hardly need any phone book. thats because most of the numbers that i require are on my finger tips. whenever i need one i simply recall them. But yes many of my friends are not even able to remember their own numbers, thats pathetic of them. mobile phone books have virtually wiped the tendency to byheart phone numbers, now a days you just take out your mobile toggle with some buttons and simply dial that number. its that simple.

Well, after using a mobile phone, I store all the contact numbers in the phone, and I couldn't remember my friends' number. I can only remember my family members' numbers, in case I need help urgently, or if I have lost my phone, at least I still can dial some numbers for help. I can still remember my friends' old phone numbers which I remembered them last time before using a mobile phone. Well, I don't use phone book anymore. I'll try to key in my contacts in computer, in case if I lose my mobile phone one day, I'll still be able to get back all those contacts.

yeah, now with the phonebook in mobile phones, i barely remember anyone's phone number, unless i always call that number a lot. when i first moved to my new house, i didn't know what my house phone number is at all. i have it stored in my mobile phone's phonebook but i can't remember what it was lol. whenever people ask me, i have to find my house phone number inside my mobile. .

I don't remember anyones phone number now that I have a cell phone. Come to think about it, I don't even know my home number. Isn't that horrible? What happened to the days when we memorized everyones phone number? I guess those days are long gone.

I only remember my own cellphone number and maybe my mothers to, but when i was a kid i used to remember all my friends home numbers, but in norway we only got 8 digits in a number so its kinda easy to remember.
