Do you watch any sports and games on TV?
In India millions of people watch cricket matches in which India is involved. But I don't admire cricket and hence I don't watch them. But I watch foot ball, hockey and tennis on TV. I am very fond of them.
What about you?
Are you fond of any games?
Do you watch live matches on the TV?

Hello, abroji,I like to watch sports, especially soccer, rugby or cricket on the TV,there are also many people watching cricket in australia.I like soccer because it is so exciting and unpreditable,i liek cricket because it can really kill the time for me,lol. And I think everyone in australia will love rugby.
I do not always go to watch live sports,i have been to live rugby games for few times,i really enjoyed it.

Yes, I know that the Australians are very nuch interested in sports. Your country's team is the unchallengeable super power in cricket. In the last soccer world cup you have proved your might by reaching the quarter finals. Australians are the best at many other sports like hockey, swimming and tennis. I am happy you are a sports lover.
Thank you for the response.

India is also quite good at cricket and we may see the real power of the cricket team in next world cup which will be held in india.
But honestly i think the government has not put enough funding for sports development, that is why we do not always hear the athletes standing on the podium in Olympic.May be your government should do more on sports.

Yes. You are right. Our government has to pay special attention to our sports and games. The attitude of the people has also to be changed. For the ordinary man in India the only sports event is cricket. Not very much takers for other games. Thank you for the comment.

You have a varied interest in sports and games. American football is otherwise known as rugby? That game is not popular in India. But very rarely I use to watch it in the TV. Interesting, but all the game rules are not clear to me.
Thank you gberlin for your response.

In the fall, I sometimes watch football. I will also watch hockey and basketball from time to time. Even some curling, if I can find it. Some rodeo is fun to watch too. That's about it, except for some horse racing once in a while. I admit I have never watched a cricket match and rarely watch soccer. I used to watch sports all the time, but now there are far more important things to do with my time.

Yes friend. I am very much fond of watching sports channel. Let it be any sports. But my first preference is for cricket. But if cricket is not there then i watch some other sports. I enjoy watching, basketball, football and tennis. If i find that there is no sports of my favourite then i go to news channel and try to improve my knowledge on happenings of the world :).

I used to spend ages watching the professional golf tournaments now I have discovered the internet I don't have time. My husband is a great Rugby Union fan and I grew up watching that as my dad also liked it so I watch some of those matches. My husband likes to get the atmosphere at a live match so I let him go with his friends as I prefer to watch on TV so I can spend longer on MyLot!
