Dinesh Karthik - Is he overrated??

yes up to some extent. you know that every player become a specialist after a lot experience. No one can be a specialist in start. He needs time to express himself so he has benn granted , let us look what he gives to Indian team

Absolutely, he is overrated to the core. He is not so superb keeper neither a good batsman and definitely not a specialist batsman to be on the side as a specialist batsman, which I feel is the most stupidest thing done by the indian team.

I feel Dinesh Kartik has a good cricketing brain. He seems to be fine cricketer but is early days as he is just starting out his international career. But Kartik has shown the right attitude, temperament and seems to have the skills also to be able to play at this level. Hopefully he can be groomed to become a good cricketer for India as he does have talent. I think we should not hype him besides he is good fielder and there is also healthy rivalry between him and dhoni for wicketkeeping slot also so that's good.
