Bean & Bacon Soup with Dumplings

My Dear Old Gran used to make the most delicious soups, my favourite was bean and bacon soup with dumplings (anyone want the soup recipe?) I can make the soup but have lost the recipe for the dumplings. I need a recipe for light,fluffy dumplings that I can use in this thickish soup Help!!!!!!!!!!!!
