Mothers day plans

Well today is mothers day and I'm wondering if anyone has anything special planned for the day. Today I'm spending the day with my family and we're gonna BBQ and enjoy the day. The men folk hopefully won't burn the backyard down while us women sit inside and relax for the day. It should be fun watching them chase after the kids though hopefully we all make it through the day in one piece. What are your plans to celibrate this special day?

We actually aren't doing anything special. my sister and i's birthdays both are this week, so next weekend we are going down to my mom to celebrate birthdays and mothers day. i am a mother also, but as usual i'm getting nothing special. my husband and i got into a huge fight yesterday so we'll spend the day barely speaking and doing some yardwork.

Wow yea that can be a bit expensive with everything falling so close together. I know for fathers day this year it is going to be strange because its also my spouses birthday. Every 7 or so yrs his birthday lands on Fathers day so this year will be a bit odd.
