I think you should wait for the next episode. and watch per episode so you can understand.

I think there is a little bit of confusion. You must realize that in the future where Peter had the scar he had never met Claire. Hiro went back in time and changed the past by telling Peter to save the cheerleader, and by doing so he was able to acquire her power. In the future where the bomb went off, Peter never met the Clair, never gained her power, and could be hurt. Or another possibility is that he is indeed the bomb and when he explodes it is so powerful that he couldn't heal from it entirely and has the scar on his face. I'm sticking with my first theory though. It seems the most plausible.

I don't think that he didn't meet her because he would've die all together plus sylar would kill him in a matter of minutes...

Coldphilter is right. Remember when Peter is on the subway with Mohinder gettiing Mohinder's fathers ashes, and time stops and everyone is frozen except for Peter? Peter sees future Hiro who tells him "Save the cheerleader save the world". In the future we saw in episode 20, Peter hasn't ever met Claire, so he doesnt have the power to regenerate. Its because Hiro went back into the past and told Peter to save claire that shes still alive. In the "new" future I dont think that Peter will have any scar.

Peter may have never met Sylar if hadn't tried to save Claire. The only reason that Peter met Sylar was because he was trying to save Claire, and now that he has, that has changed events for the rest of the future.

That's the question that first popped out oy my mind after viewing last episode. Maybe there's a twist on the story. =)

I'm guessing it has something to do with Sylar. he's the only other person who could be powerful enough to do something like that. can't wait til the next episode is out. darn this one week wait!

i think he's scar has something to do with the nuclear explosion thing. He got that powers from Ted, the radioactive man. But I cant figure out what exactly happen. I think we should wait for the upcoming episodes.

My best guess is that he got the scar during his explosion. It could have been that he fought Sylar just before, received the wound and the invulnerability power from him before blowing up (which saved him). This doesn't really work either, because he can take on anyone's power within a few seconds, so it would have been a mighty quick fight. So I still think he got it due to him blowing up and it simply didn't heal completely? It's strange, it's never explained. Perhaps they'll explain it in the next season.

OK, here is my take on Peter's scar. While Hiro was training for fighting Sylar, Ando bought the sword and went looking for him. In the confusion, either Sylar had made himself to look like Peter, or Peter was invisible and in the way. But my opinion is that it was Ando who sliced Peter, and because Sylar kills Ando, Peter keeps it as a mark to remember Ando, either because it was his fault that Ando was killed or his fault that someone ended up blowing up half of NYC.
