How often you whisper? Do you feel easy while doing so or when others do so?

Whispering! We see so many people doing the same. This is done due to the fact that somebody want to keep the privacy or hide some information from others to learn. Yes, its one's right to use this tool!
How often you whisper? Is it good to whisper while people around you are even silent? How would you feel when you do so or somebody does it before you?

I do not whisper in Company as it is rude if I have something to say in confidence I will wait till I am alone with that Person
When you whisper People get a complex and think you are talking about them which is quite understandable so it can be said in privat

I do not whisper to much. Usually in meetings only. If I have something to say I don't mind saying it so everyone can hear it. I am used to talking out loud in the classes I teach.

Well, usually if I whisper, it's because I'm talking about something to do with myself or the person I am whispering to. And neither one of us would like our business to be broadacast. But the bad thing is, when you whisper and the person you are talking to says very loudly, "Huh?! I can't hear you - speak up!" And then everyone stares at you, so the point of whispering is gone. : )

I try not to whisper around others...I was raised being taught that it was rude to whisper around others.
Now, I do whisper to my son occassionally when his behavior is not exactly what I expect it to be and others are around....I feel that what I say to him to try to deter this behavior is not a communication that I want shared....there is not reason, in my opinion, to bring further attention or embarrassment to him.
I also do not like to see others do this in public although, I guess it is their right to do so....but my trained bias to this behavior seems deeply ingrained.
