Why don't people always start discussiosn in a relevant interest?

Do you often find that a fair amount of discussiosn poste on MyLot are not started in any interest topic, even though there is a really obvious interest topic that they could have been psoted in? Why is this? Earlier i posted a discussion wondering why people didn't often post girly discussions, yet it seems they post more than i thought, it's just that they don't link them to an interest which makes them much harder to find! Do you always try to start your discussions in a relevant interest? I do!

All too often I see this happen here as of late. I always start mine in the correct category as far as what's available to use. Some categories are so vague that almosyt any topic can be placed there. One such topic is "People". Any discussion can be placed there as I am a person so why not if it's about me. But theres a flagrant misuse of this starting them in the correct category I agree. Thanks and have a great day/evening. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yes, there are a lot of very open ended interests, such as 'life', 'people' and even 'MyLot'! I've also noticed people starting discussions in completely the wrong topics, perhaps by accident or perhaps on purpose as they think it may get them more responses?
