We have a boat but havent taken it out yet this year. WE asre moving in two weeks. Then we will be only 1 mile from the boat launch of Pymatuning Lake in Ohio. Then we will be able to fish more often.

I haven't been out yet this year. I bought a boat and on the way home the trailer snapped so I've been repairing the damage since then. It's nearly ready to go and should be hitting the sea around the South Wales (UK) coast in the next few days. I must be the most patient person I know cos I've been dying to take it out and we've had great weather recently!! Simon. www.yammbq.blogspot.com

No, well unfortunately I've never gone fishing. I've always had curiosity towards fishing, and always wanted to try it, but I'm not sure I would have the courage to kill the fish and so on, I think I would be throwing every fish back, sort of like a "Free Willy" episode, but to every single fish large or small, (yes I know "Willy" wasn't a fish, I know Orca's also known as killer wales are mammals... but anyhow, I feel strange because I've always wanted to fish and do want to try it, yet dread the image of killing or the fish dying. I don't know anyone that would want to go fishing with me );

Yes!!!! The fish seem to love my pink fishing pole! I caught a rock bass and a small mouth bass in Honey Creek. It flows from the Sandusky River. My husband caught (A) catfish. Yes, only one, so I outfished him!!! Pymatuning is a great place!

We have went fishing a couple of times in the Maumee River in northwest Ohio. We didn't catch anything. Well, I did. I caught a good case of poison ivy. LOL We spent 3 hours long side the Maumee yesterday, in the sun and evidently the poison ivy. We have went a few times in our pond and caught a big catfish. Where is Pymatuning Lake in Ohio?

i love fishing we go year around. we have a boat too but the top rod spun so we dont like taking the kids out just in case. if you unplug the top spark plug it runs great cant even tell it is messed up but hubby doesnt want to take the chance. we are trying to find another motor now but cant afford an arm and a leg. it has a 115 mercury on it now. it is i think a 73-76 year model. the boat is really nice though. i keep telling himt o sell it and we can get another one but smaller. we have been bank fishing alot alreadyt his year but the water is so high up we arent having alot of luck. that and fishign aroudn ehre is best done by boat.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the golden opportunity to fish even once in my life. However, I would really love to experience how it actually feels like to go on fishing. Just by merely thinking about it, I could already feel that I would really enjoy such activity, especially since I feel that it would be very challenging to catch a fish. Catching my first fish would perhaps send a nagging feeling of excitement up my spine. If you would be kind enough to share, lightningMD, how does it feel like to fish? What did you feel when you first went on fishing? How did it feel like to finally catch your first fish, and what kind of fish was it? I hope that my questions would not cause you any hassle. Thanks in advance!
