Have you even been told to something ..an answer to a question..or how to do something at work.. and next thing you know it is flipped 180 degrees and now you must do the opposite or the answer you received is not valid.. Do you get frustrated by inconsistancies? How do you handle quick switching of gears at work?+

Absolutely, I just started a new job and my new boss does that all of the time...one time he says one thing and the next time he says just the opposite. He has done this a number of times. I am not sure how to handle it, other then get away from him, but I can not get a transfer yet. Right now, I just try to do my job and stay quiet..but that does not work either. He is a micro-manager and has turned everyone on each other. Yet when I interviewed with him, he said he did not micro-manage, he sets up rules with scenarios in mind then when a new scenario arises, people turn on each other to enforce the rule that is best for them. It is a nightmare.

Wow..I feel so sorry for you..I know what you mean..just giving the boss his/her space when they are in the changing mood is about all you can do...I think sometimes, maybe they become so full of work they don't remember everything they say??? I know what you mean though..It's awful when workers in a work place begin to work against each other..Keep your chin up..am your friend;)+

Yes and it is my bane. My work is constantly changing, my job is constantly changing. I was told in my initial training class that here at this comapny the motto is change. I have an issue with this because I have OCD and I need routine. I get freaked out by change and have issues but I like my job because it is easy and it challenges my condition. Also I am trained now to perform any campaign in my office so I often in 1 work day end up being thrown into 3 different job sets. I hate it but I did know about all of this when I accepted the job so I deal with it.
