I love using essential oils, i find that they really do work and do what they are supposed to do, and can be very pampering too. I love Tea Tree becuase it's such a useful oil, it's antibacterial, antifungal, good for bites, stings, cuts and spots, and has a whole range of uses. Lavender is also a very versatile oil, and has the advantage of a nic smell to! Eucalyptus is very useful when you have a cold, so it's one of my faveourites for that reason. Scent wise, i love patchouli, ylang ylang and neroli, which all also have their own great uses. So waht are your faveourite Essential Oils and why?

I am also a HUGE fan of tea tree oil. Even as an adult, I have troubled skin, and suffer from breakouts. Tea tree oil has been a major help with this issue. I add drops to face lotion, and to witch Hazel to make a refreshing and cleansing toner.
I also like lavendar. The scent is very soothing and I often put a few drops in my bath before bedtime. Lavendar oil is also good for spots on your face. It helps calm the redness...making them much easier to cover up with concealer.
I use cedar oil to "recharge" the cedar blocks I keep in my closet and yarn stash. I hope this helps keep the evil moths away.

I have just some: orange, mandarine, bergamot, lemon, peppermint, lavender, rosmarine, ylang-ylang.I mix them and use as inhalation, spray, shower, massage or addition to shampoo. I have a lot of materials about the aromatherapy and like to make experiments with essential oils.

Tea tree oil is great for skin problems, I like to mix some in a spray bottle and spritz it on my face as toner, it's especially nice for oily skin and preventing/treating breakouts and spots.
Lavender is very lovely, we use it when we're having troubles sleeping, as it is very calming and relaxing.
Peppermint and spearmint are some of my favourite essential oils though, I just love the scent, and mixed into massage oil they're great for helping relax sore muscles! They're also nice when you have a cold, inhaling the minty smell always seems to help me breathe easier and feel better. Nothing is better than a peppermint-neroli blend when you're feeling awful and sick!

I have tree tea oil but need to find some useful, but simple applications for it.
I like lavender oil - a little under the children's pillow helps to soothe them into a nice sleep.
I have been searching for eucalyptus oil for a while, I want to use it to deter fleas from the dogs, but have had no success in finding it locally. How do you use it as an application against Cold Symptoms?

I love Tea Tree because it's good for a whole lot of uses. I also like to use Eucalyptus for the healing properties. Burn that through the house when a person is sick, and it's a help if you ask me. I love frankensense and some I use just to burn.
