Making friends on MyLot

Hi everyone, I am quite new to MyLot and am still learning all the ins and outs of it. One thing I am wondering about is making and adding friends. Is there a proper etiquette to do this? I have had some people respond to the discussions I have started and have conversed somewhat, but at one point do I start to build a friend list, and what is the polite protocol to ask somebody if they would like to be on my friend list. Sorry for the amateur nature of my question, but I am new to this and do not want to offend anyone. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sure thing, I just finished responding to a post you have made by just going to the discussions my friends have started link. You are right, this is starting to get fun! cheers

Glad you asked this. I, too, am very new and I felt too shy to ask.

I would be more than happy to be your friend, but I think I am going to pass an adbux right now.

There is no proper etiquette to adding friends to your list, but generally speaking when you come across someone interesting or someone posting in your discussions or helpful etc, send a friend request. You shouldn't have many rejections as long as they see your not a spammer..... I'm sure along the way you will receive many people wanting to be your friend too :)

I posted a similar question and I got one friend, then slowly built up a few. As you become involved in mylot more people will start to ask to be your friend, or you could ask someone. Look at a persons profile, it will list discussions they have started or responded to...if you seem to have something in common with them then request them as a friend. The worst someone could do is turn you down :)

Hello, golfproo,i always like to meet more friends from different countries in mylo, when i am adding other people,i will try to read and reply to their discussions politely, once you have developed a bit interaction, they may add you into their friendlist, also many people are also looking for friends who get same interests with them, therefore,it it better to make friends with common interests. GOod luck.
