Why don't you play WoW instead of RS?

I played runescape for a long time for a few reason, the major reason was just that I was addicted, but another reason was because my friends played. Now all of my friends have left for WoW so I am going to do the same. The only issue for me playing WoW is the money, but I'm getting a job this summer so that won't be a problem. What about you, why do you play runescape instead of a better game like WoW?

Yeah, Same. I don't want to be addicted to anything else. I was on myspace for awhile during college, and I was sitting there in between classing just checking it. Atleast I tell when i've had enough of runescape. Althrough, back in the day.. I could sit and mine all day. I can't do that anymore.

yea, I know that the full version is something crazy like 4.5gigabytes, it took me like 4 hours to install

yeah...i still say runescape is way better.wow,i lost patience for it..i got it downloaded..after 13 hours..omfg..it took really long.i almost went crazy watching that download strip go up..god.so i just play runescape.since it took 13secs to load up..so im happy.and ive played runescape for so long.im addicted to that game..i dont feel like being addicted to two games.

i found runescape a few years ago (it's comming up for nearly 3 years of playing now) i like the fact that it has a free version that is unlimited as well as the members version, i like role player games, and runescape is perfect for me.
the graphics really don't bother me, heck i still play on FF7 so the graphics really aren't an issue lol.
runescape is updated monthly, sometimes even weekly, so there is always something new going on and i like that.
WoW really doesn't interest me, i don't like the fact that you have to go and BUY the game and then still PAY more every month to play it, and without paying for you membership you can't play at all, there is no free version at all. that to me is a complete waste of money when you went to the shop to buy the game in the first place.
well they are my personal reasons for playing runescape instead of Wow anyway lol.

I quit playing Runescape to play Flyff, but the game servers and GM's in Flyff kept getting worse and worse. I'm back to playing Runescape again.
I don't play WoW because of the money. I'm not willing to pay $15 dollars a month just to play a game. $5 dollars is all that I'm willing to pay per month.
Now, while Runescape's graphics aren't all that great, the game engine always works and most of the Mods are friendly. That's good enough for me.

The mods and blackmark system are actually part of the resason I quit. I have 10.5 black marks and never did anything significantly wrong. My guy is on his last chance. I only have like 2 blackmarks that I actually deserve, some of the rs rules are ridiculous and they are super anal about enforcing them.

I play runescape instead of WOW because runescape is more simple then WOW. I sometimes play world of warcraft on private servers so i dont need to pay anything. I would never waste 30$ a month to play that game.

I don't play Wow for the reason that I can play runescape anywhere without installing it or waiting for any large download. I have dial up so I'm not sure if I could even play Wow. I wouldn't want to trade the game for anything really.

first of all runescape is free and second of all more people play runescape and second of all runescape is a more friendly online role playing game.
