TreasureTrooper Scammed Me

United States

Here's the deal: I was a member of TreasureTrooper for a while, about 3 months and I had made over 800 dollars. My biggest check coming this month was going to be for about 500 dollars. Then I was told by TT that quote: "You are a frauder and have been caught frauding on many sites including your own". I had never "frauded" anyone and the manner of which my situation was handled was preposterous. I emailed them asking for more info and why my account was deleted. I was not rude and tried to be understanding. I was completely cut off. My account was non accessible, and my forum account deleted. I still don't know what I did wrong and I am quited ticked off because I lost almost 600 dollars. This is just a warning to people using TT or sites like this that seem legitimate for the time being, but after a while, they can decide to just cut you off and not send your money. Even if I did do something wrong, they never informed me of everything. I still don't know why they just cut me off. Keep in mind that in the terms of all these sites, they basically say at anytime for any reason they can delete your account and keep your money. P.S. I had already received two checks from them, so I really was excited about using them and getting more referrals.

I had never heard of treasure trooper, however, I am sure I will remember not to join the site now. I would never let that much money go unclaimed from any site. Case in point this could happen. I would contact the BBB and notify the of this action.

I've never heard about treasure trooper. There are many programs around that says it can give you easy money. Money us earned through hard work. You just can't sign up and receive money without doing anything. Invest in sites which you think gives back. Don't just join in every autosurf programs.

I'm sorry that that happened to you. I've had really good experiences with Treasure Trooper. Maybe you gave the wrong info when you did offers that required a credit card? Either way, they should give you a reason. I wouldn't give up. I would go to the forums and post what you just told us to see if they'll respond there. If anyone is interested in checking Treasure Trooper out you can use my referral link: http://www.treasuretrooper.com/269577 I know tons of people that have made really good money from it with no cost to them. You just have to read the rules.

Yeah dude, I hear ya...I was makin' good money and had a bunch of referrals, and then one day, my account was frozen, and I was supposed to get my check. I had committed no fraud, but they insisted I did. So I recently started over, trying to regain everything, but I'm starting to think it's not worth it...what if I get scammed out of my money again?!

TreasureTrooper is a very genuine site as many of my friends are using it and getting there payment on time. I am not sure what went wrong at your end or was there any miss understanding from admin. I feel sorry for you because I know that it takes lots of effort to earn and to get refferals.

Sorry to hear that you lost so much money. I signed up with them some time ago, but when I looked at their offers and surveys I realized most of them are for US citizens. The only reason I joined was because I was looking for survey sites. I couldn´t find a suitable one so I basically forgot about the site. When they noticed that I didn´t log in for so long, they send me an email saying that they put three dollars on my account as an incentive. You can imagine that I didn´t believe it. Just logged in and signed out. I can understand you´re fed up (to put it mildly) because when you´ve been paid twice, the last thing you expect is to have your account cut off. Hopefully your post will stop people from joining Treasure Trooper.

Sorry you got scammed. I looked at that site awhile ago, I didn't like the looks of it, thought it looked like a scam site. My opinion, all these sites that pay, don't let your money build up too high-cash out at the minimum you're allowed too. I've always been afraid the sites would screw me over somehow-like what happened to you.

I am really sorry to hear about that. I was a member of TT as well and they did the same thing to me. I didn't make that much money there of course, but I was moving and I put my new phone number as my own and I got an email saying that my account was suspended/deleted for fraudelent charges as well. I never went back there since then and spend my time on more legit sites, but still, I guess you just never know about some places. Do you think it's something worth getting the Better Business Bureau involved in?

Never heard about this site however the way they work seems to be similar to many other sites. They will pay you one time or 2, then when u really start earning and have alot of referalls and work hard they cut you off, saying that u have broken the rules. I am sorry this happened to you, but i guess that u have to be happy for atleast beeing paid twice =)

Sorry to hear that, I just sign up with them this morning. I guess I will just do it for a little while and see how much I get. I think they probably did not want to pay out so much money that's why they drop you.

I joined Treasure Troopers a few months ago and really don't understand what the site is for. I did surveys and was approved for seven offers and have had around 8 offers peding. It doesn't seem like a very interesting site, I just got more spam e-mails.

Wow, I would be so frustrated if something like that happened to me. The most annoying part about that is that they didn't give you a good explanation as to why the deleted your account. It seems like they just did it because you were making a lot of money with them and that they didn't want to pay you anymore. Im actually really glad that I read your post, I just started on treasure trooper 2 weeks ago, and, after reading your post, I dont think that ill be continuing with them. I dont like the thought of my account just deleting out of the blue, without any explaination.
