Do you prefer living in hot or cold weather?

Do you prefer living in a hot country or a cold country? I prefer living in a hot country because it makes me feel freer but some hate the heat For example if i had a choice now I'd probably live in a city near the beach I dont live that far from a beach place its about an hour by train and in the summer its quite hot here but its not the same as some tourist places I like the cold but you have to wear so many clothes all the time and be prepared for the bad weather conditions but some like this more than preparing for the heat Do you mind where you live, does it make a difference to you or do you just go by the place more than the weather?

I love warmer weather. I get so depressed when it is cold outside or in the winter time here. I wish I lived when it was hot all the time.I do not mind hot weather at all.

I agree. Cold weather can be depressing; however, I do enjoy a nice downpour of rain every once in a while. We do not get much in Vegas, so a little rain is a nice change.

Well...my country is one of the tropical country..we just have 2 seasons, either it is rainy or hot weather...actually, i like both of it..hot and cold weather...it depends on the situation..now,i'm living in the country which has 4 seasons..cause i live in south side, the winter here isn't too cold..i don't like hot weather here cause it is so hot maybe till 35 degrees and the air is dry too..when it comes,i always get thirsty..anyway,i don't mind about the weather..i just go by the place which could give me safety and pleasant..

I prefer to live in a hot country - even better if it's tropical. For one, there are more tropical fruits, and you can be comfortable in any type of clothing. I can keep up with the fashion trends ha ha ha. I guess, there's limited activities in a place where there's snow...

I have it both ways...... in the summer I live and work on a farm in Ontario Canada, and in the winter I live and holiday in Alamo Texas USA. I have a mobile in a Park in Alamo. Its a Gated Community and quite safe. The weather is semi tropical and I have Grapefruit trees behind the house, and a banana growing along the side. So its like having summer all the time, but its never too hot or too cold in either location when I'm living there.

where in the u.s do you live now? try florida or gorgea or somewhere in that region. they really dont have anything you can call a real winter. If you want it REALLY hot then go to arizona or nevada, the desert area's are usaly pretty warm year round and with out the humidity.

I wouls love to cold whether.. i stay in a place where ther is always hottt..i guess that is the main reason why i want to live in cold whether.. but initially..i was in a place where ther in extreme climate..i.e. too hot in summers and too cold in winters..ilked that kinda whether..coz you will get some change and you can enjoy the whether..:P i love only winters..because summers are just irritating cant even go out in hot sun and it also makes my skin tan and i tend to get skin burns..but ther will be no such problem in winter seasons na..so..I laove winters..:P!!!

I prefer living in cold weather. I have ms, and so I am not tolerant to heat. It makes the ms worse. I live in Oregon, and the part of Oregon I live in, the tempature, luckily doesn't get that hot. In the summer, I just have to make sure I stay in air conditioning places. So it really makes a difference that I live in cold(er) weather.

I have lived in quite some places now. Different cities in France and then Canada and now California. I can say that the best weather for me has been California. It can get hot as in many other places during the summer but it's not humid. I have humidity. When I lived in Montreal it was very cold during winter and like you I had to wear a lot of clothes all the time for many months because the winter winter is long there (almost 6 months!). I don't like very cold weather but I prefer cold to hot and humid weather. Montreal has two extremes: very cold in the winter and very hot and humid in the summer. During the summer I used to long for those cold winter days! California has a very good weather. In the winter it's not that cold and in summer it's warm and if it gets hot it's not that bad because it's not humid.

My friends and coworkers think I'm nuts. I love that hot stcky, balmy humid weather. I could live in it year round. I suffer terribly durring the winters, wich can get pretty brutal in this part of the country. I can't stand the cols at all. Come summer though, wich gets suprisingly hotter than most people think northern new england can get. We get days where the climate is almost tropical. but that's ok, i love that weather. Just a side note, I've noticed the people who complain about the heat and humidity durring the summer, also complain about the cold in winter.

having lived in the UK all my life i long for nothing more than to retire to the sun.... must have a pool though .. essential stuff....you cant beat walking after a meal with the dog with the sun going down and the sound of crickets chirping away.. the balmy evening breeze wafting over you as you stroll along in shorts and t shirt... ahhhhh thats the life for me....

I'll take the inbetween every time. Give me 50-80 degrees and I will be happy. I don't need to be by the water or a beach, but I understand the attraction. The colder weather isn't so bad at first, but really gets to be a drag after so many months. The heat doesn't set well with me either. I like to be out, but comfortable at the same time.

I prefer cool weather. Not hot, not cold but cool. Warm even. I hate the inbetween and I hate the heat. Cold is better though I cant wear shorts. I do like I can get warm when I am cool but its harder to get cold when I am warm. I leave near the beach for 6 months now we live 10 mint from the beach. SO I am getting used to the new kinds of weather for us.

I came from a very hot country to a place where it snows 7 months in a year..how i hate it ! I can tolerate heat and prefer a hot climate to freezing cold when you have no choice but to stay put in the house. I feel stuck up in the house when its cold for so many months.

To be spesific I like to live in a tropical country. Its neither cold nor hot. No need to wear several clothes on and yes here in the Philippines you'd love the beach. If I go to another place I always see to it that I know the weather so I can prepare myself. Most of the time we I don't go for the weather but for the place. There are places we love to see but we just hate the weather.
