Okay, this is getting annoying. I had someone as a friend on here & I suppose they were banned from mylot or something because I had about 40 notifications in my email were they had started new discussions but when I clicked on the link, it went to the blank page. So I checked there profile & all of there disucssions that they had started & responded to have been deleted. As a result, my number went from 1004 to 985 over night causeing my earnings to drop. I answered several posts last night & got it back up to 1054 now it has dropped back down to 1044. I understand that mylot has to combat the cheaters, but it's not fair that they take points & money away from people who have responded to the discussion not knowing that it was copied or aginst the guidelines. What do you think? Do you think that it is fair for mylot to take money away from the responders? do you think it would do any good if several of the members emailed them & asked that they change there policy on this issue?

oh,i don't know that.i thought mylot delete some topics but they don't delete our number of replies.but, now i know i am wrong,no wonder my earnings dropped some day before,i thought that it was the problem of my eyes. so maybe reading the guideline is important.then we could know what to reply and what we shouldn't.maybe we could give mylot some suggestion,i did before,on other issues, they replied, but they didn't change.lol,i think it needs a lot of time to change something.

If I knew that one of my friends was continually posting so many discussions that were violating the guidelines, I would either remove the friend from my friend list, or be more careful what I responded to. I do not mean to sound harsh, but I think that we all need to be aware of the abuse that is going on here. If we know that someone is having their discussions removed for abusing the site, yet we continue post responses to their posts without considering that they are likely to be deleted, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

I think you misunderstood the qustion. This wasn't obviouse abuse other wise I wouldn't have wasted my time answering any qustions. (Why would I, knowing my earnings would be deducted?) I am guessing that this person was copy/pasting qustions from other sites. There is no way to know if someone is copying & pasting qustions unless you see those qustions asked on the other site or asked by another user. Other wise, there is no way to know.

Perhaps I did misunderstand the question. When I read that you had received about 40 notifications, and that all of the links took you to blank pages, I guess I just assumed that you would have caught on by that time. If you hadn't run into these posts that had been removed, then I guess you wouldn't have known.

In actuality there are no innocents in these type of issues. members need to read mylot guidelines and adhere to them. Then the points wouldn't be deducted. I avoid the majority of any discussions that even border on being a violation of the guidelines. I think that may be the reason I haven't lost points. But it is each and every members responsibility to read, know, and understand the guidelines here is all I can say. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Yeah, but Im talking about discussions that seem legit. But then you find out they are a copy & paste. There is no way to know untill you answer them. It's not like they are obviouse aginst the guidelines. I think everyone has had this happen to them at some point or another. There is no way to tell if a qustion is a copy/paste job or not untill you answer it, then wa-la, a few days later your earnings are deducted. I think if it was obviouse then no one would answer them because, well, no one wants to spend all day answering qustions then loose all money made from them.
